Importing using filter

Most users keep their pictures on the stick memory during a long time. So in this case some pictures have already been passed to the computer. The tab filter lets you to define a filter to transfer only pictures matching the criteria.provided.

You can also need to filter pictures if you wish to create sessions grouping logically pictures. If you take the same days pictures form landscape, then some friends and finally a family party maybe you will wish to group by theme your images.

 

You can grant two kinds of filter : one by date the other by number.

 

You can give only a minimum or a maximum value or both values.

 

Filtering by date :

If you give only a minimum date  : all pictures from this date (including this date) will be selected for transfer.

If you give only a maximum date : all pictures taken before and this date are selected to be transferred.

If you give a minimum or a maximum date  : pictures between these two dates (including the boundaries).

 

Filter is applied to the file date.

 

Filtering by number :

You can also filter by number. Number is the one added by your camera to the prefix PIC, IMG..

The minimum and maximum values can be used by the same way described  for filtering by date.

 

 

 

Once you are ready the jas_021 button is highlighted. If you click the button, the source folder is read again, and the filter is applied. If you click the Session tab now, the list shows only the pictures matching the criteria.
