Terminology

Crop : Cropping is a method to remove parts of the left and right sides of a widescreen movie so that it fits into another aspect ratio, without stretching the image or filling the blank spaces with letterbox bars.

Exif : Exchangeable image file format (official abbreviation Exif, not EXIF) is a specification for the image file format used by digital cameras. It was created by the Japan Electronic Industry Development Association (JEIDA). The specification uses the existing JPEG, TIFF Rev. 6.0, and RIFF WAVE file formats, with the addition of specific metadata tags. It is not supported in JPEG 2000 or PNG.

FTP : file transfer protocol is used to connect two computers over the Internet so that the user of one computer can transfer files and perform file commands on the other computer. Specifically, FTP is a commonly used protocol for exchanging files over any network that supports the TCP/IP protocol (such as the Internet or an intranet). There are two computers involved in an FTP transfer: a server and a client. The FTP server, running FTP server software, listens on the network for connection requests from other computers

Mapi : is an acronym for Messaging Application Programming Interface implemented in Microsoft Windows. MAPI allows client programs to become (electronic mail) messaging-enabled, -aware, or -based by calling MAPI subsystem routines that interface with certain messaging systems and message stores

Session : a collection of pictures stored in the same folder.
