Press information for reviewers Just After Shot follows 2 major goals : * Help the user to transfer quickly pictures from the camera, or memory stick, to computer keeping original date and time (unlike WIndows wizard utility), renaming all pictures at a time and creating folder(s) automatically. The user has the possibility to fix quickly pictures. By example, selected pictures can be rotated with one click. Exif data can also be injected to all pictures at a time. * Provide tools and method to keep safe pictures. Just After Shot is able to burn pictures to CD/DVD, copy pictures (with original date) to any external or network drive, upload pictures to a FTP server The “session” is the cornerstone of the software. A session can be created by acquering pictures from a camera, or by digitalizing a bunch of pictures or documents through a scanner, or by scanning a folder or an entire drive. With few clicks the user can select some pictures, resample , zip and email these shots to friends or relatives. Just After Shot is not an album software, sessions can be removed when the user has finished with the organization and backup. But sessions can be kept for quick access. Just After Shot is compatible with WIndows Autoplay. But unlike a lot of famous sofware, Just After Shot searches for the most recent folder on the device inserted, and not only for the root folder. Just After Shot uses the look and feel of Microsoft Office 2007. About Vista : we have tested it under Vista, but Vista is not yet stable, some features of the software don’t work as they work under XP (by example the Autoplay). This is the first version. The software will be improved in the next weeks : support for IPTC metadata (Adobe compatible) and support for other pictures format (Tiif, Png...) is planned. Upgrade will be free for registered users. Coming soon : two other software are under construction.
